Ach Gott wo kommt das denn nun wieder her? ich dachte ich hätte sämtliche "Hemden-Anfälle" hinter mir gelassen. Gibt's denn so was eigentlich? Das Ganze zieht sich ja nun auch schon gute 14 Jahre oder so hin. Das muss wohl wahre Liebe sein. Oder Dummheit. Wie auch immer, es ist einfach nur geil. haha Ich sag's ja, ich hab sie nich mehr alle..

So, jetzt ist es also so weit. Der große Tag ist da. Nö moment mal, nicht alle hier sind der deutschen Sprache mächtig, ergo steht nun wieder ein Sprachwechsel an. Hm und da ich ja linguistisch veranlagt bin (ob meine Übersetzerkollegen das auch alle so sehen? ;D) werde ich das natürlich gerne tun, um meinem internationalen (Groß)publikum gerecht zu werden.

Well, the big day is finally here. I feel slightly sick but this is not due to food poisoning or extreme nerves, nope I'm just soooooo incredibly excited that the EM is here now. I know I said a while ago that I couldn't be bothered and that our media was driving me crazy but now that it's really happening I can't get enough of it. Oh God I really hope we'll win this thing. I'm still not 100% convinced (nope, just 99.8%) but I really want this. 1996 was a lifetime ago. We really need that title again. In diesem Sinne "Kommt bringt ihn heim" wie unser Herr Pocher schon so schön sagt. ooops that was German again. Well I found out the other day (two days ago really) that Olli actually stole this song from some Swiss guy called Baschi (no comment!) and it's called "chum bring en hei".... for my non-German friends... listen to it! Swiss German is so funny and trust me I don't understand one single word. "Chum bring en hei" sounds so stupid compared to "Kommt bringt ihn heim". lol but that's just my personal preference.

having said that I nearly died yesterday when a) the Swiss lost and b) when Frei walked off. I felt so sorry for him. That poor bastard. I mean it's one thing when you realise that the tournament is over for you when you play let's say in Timbuktu - that's bad enough but it's 2 billion times worse when you play at home in our own country. I really pray that Switzerland will make it to the quarter finals now!

This certainly doesn't apply to Austria though. Well my roots are there I have to confess (how on earth did that happen??) but the are annoying me big time. They really think they have won the cup already. well the other night they even had a report about it. "Wir sind Europameister". Well accoring to them we will play them in the semi final, of course we lose and Austria wins the final against Nederland. Oh well... good luck then.

Oh and can someone tell the Portuguese that they haven't won the title yet? Celebrating that goal like was a bit over the top but that's the Portuguese for you.

But that's not important today. I still predict a 1-0 for us by the way. That's what unser Kaiser thinks (according to bild.de) but he thinks that Ballack will score the winning goal in the 89th minute. So, my friends, get your medication and grow your finger nails as fast as possible as you need something to chew tonight. Some crips would also be lovely.

Die besten Trainer ever

Und hier mal ein kleiner Jürgen Klinsmann Gedächtniseintrag. Ja ich bin noch immer nicht über Klinsi und seine hellblauen Hemden hinweg. Klar der Jogi mag ein guter Trainer sein, aber optisch und hemdentechnisch kommt er einfach nicht and den Klinsi dran. Da hilft auch kein Regisseurschal... Aber so lang der Jogi unseren Jungs zum EM-Titel verhilft, sag ich eh nix...

Und in diesem Sinne.... beide Supertrainer vereint.... so wie wir's eigentlich wollen. Denn dass Klinsi zu Bayern Minga geht, hab ich ihm noch immer ned verziehen....

Hach waren das noch schöne Zeiten.... lang lang ist's her. Ich kann nur hoffen, dass diese EM (mindestens) genauso schön und erfolgreich wird wie die supergeile WM 2006. Nur mit dem Unterschied, dass wir diesmal den Pott wollen und HOLEN werden!!!!

Ich kann's kaum mehr erwarten....
